Meet Your Easygoing Denver Wedding Photographer.

I’m the guy who captures your day as it unfolds naturally, showing how it felt to be there.

Inspired by historic documentary photographers like Robert Frank, Elliott Erwitt, and Henri Cartier-Bresson.

Over 15 years of photographing weddings using a hands off/ laid back approach to capture emotional and playful moments.

I’m a photographer that doesn’t interfere, rather I observe and wait for moments to unfold without orchestrating them.

As a result, you get to interact with your loved ones, forgetting about your photographer while I discreetly capture your story.

Because your wedding isn’t about me, it’s about you.

“The best decision we made for our wedding day”

We chose Rudy because of his unique approach to wedding photography. He captures your entire day and crafts a unique story that goes far beyond the classic formal shots you’re used to seeing at weddings.

“Wow! That is all I could say when i saw his finished product.”

Our wedding photos were not only beautiful but they also had emotion and captured a story. We chose Rudy because we saw something different in his work that we couldn’t find in most photographers.

Frequently Asked

My photography style is documentary, meaning that I capture authentic (non posed or directed) moments that help tell a story. I get close to the action when It’s appropriate, immersing myself into each scene that I’m photographing. I don’t stage any portraits other than taking family portraits. I give simple prompts to my couples when taking their portraits. This allows for more natural and fun images.

Weddings that are over 150 guests are a great time to add a second photographer. I normally work with small sized weddings so I don’t include one but there’s times where it helps me get better coverage. The best way to see if you need one is to schedule a discovery call.

You’ll receive your gallery with all of your high resolution images approximately 4-6 weeks after the wedding. That gives me enough time to deliver a final product that you will love and cherish.

While I rarely travel outside of Colorado for weddings, I’m open to it if the logistics work out. It’s nice to add a change of scenery.

My Collections start at 8 hours of photography at $4,200. Find out more on my pricing page here.

I love documenting stories. I also enjoy hiking and watching horror movies. Learn more here.
