Hi, I’m Rudy
A storyteller that captures Love & Joy.
I never thought I’d become a wedding photographer. I thought wedding photos had to be formal poses showing off attire, details, and the overall appearance of weddings. Then I saw images from documentary wedding photographers and I learned that wedding photography can reflect how a person feels through the experience and not just be about the beauty.
I left Michigan for the bright lights of Las Vegas from an opportunity that came up. I learned how to photograph a wedding with a documentary approach. After hundreds of weddings featuring Elvis officiants and golf club resorts, I was ready for a change of scenery. I moved to Denver Colorado where I could be close to incredible landscapes yet still be in a city that offered a variety of fun things to do.
While living in Denver, I got into street photography. I cruised up and down the 16th St. Mall and noticed fun and quirky moments that were happening all around me. I wanted to photograph all of it so I began documenting the influx of people moving to Denver as I witnessed the expansion of the city. I’m currently working on a book about the people of Denver and it’s growth into a bigger city.
My experience of photographing authentic moments from weddings to daily life has taught me how to observe, anticipate, and react quickly with my camera. What does this mean for you? Your wedding photos will include tons of authentic moments that tell your unique story.

Acting like a Goof ball
Posing like a senior portrait in front of a group of friends is just something I do. I love to make people laugh at my own expense.
Being With Family
I’ve always had a close connection with my family and now that I have a nephew and recent brother in law, I’m thrilled that it’s growing.
Street Photography
Roaming the streets with my friends while capturing fun moments is a thrill. I’ve been photographing on the streets of Denver for the last 5 years and I plan on making a photo book someday as part of a long term project.
Hiking
I always feel a sense of wonder and awe when I’m hiking in Colorado. It’s breathtaking and it re-charges my mental state after a stressful week.
